Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Blend the cottage cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add granulated sugar, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract; stir until well combined.
- Incorporate the eggs, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Gradually combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just incorporated.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using, then pour into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for longer freshness. Warm slightly in the microwave before serving.
