Description

Delicious and tender classic Italian meatballs made with ground beef, fresh herbs, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for any family gathering or casual meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor. Let meatballs rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain moisture.
