- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.

Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor. Let meatballs rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain moisture.
