Description

A warm and fluffy cinnamon swirl bread that fills your kitchen with delightful aromas and creates cherished memories.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a bowl, combine warm milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it foam for about 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, remaining sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Make a well in the center.
  3. Pour in melted butter and eggs, followed by the foamed yeast mixture. Stir until combined.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  7. Spread a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough, then roll it up tightly.
  8. Place rolled dough in a greased loaf pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
