Ingredients
- 2 cups sourdough starter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sourdough starter, flour, and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
- Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
- Add honey, softened butter, cinnamon, and salt. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 4 to 8 hours, until it doubles in size.
- Shape the dough and place it in a Dutch oven.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing.
