Description

Delightful and colorful mini caprese salad cups that combine cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil for a perfect holiday appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or vinaigrette
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Halve the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls, and chop the fresh basil leaves.
  2. Layer the halved cherry tomatoes at the bottom of each serving cup.
  3. Follow with the mozzarella balls, and sprinkle the chopped basil on top.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze or vinaigrette generously over the layers in each cup.
  5. Season each cup with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Arrange the completed cups beautifully on a festive platter and serve immediately.
