Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the olive oil and red wine vinegar, stirring to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the chimichurri sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve with your favorite cut of steak or grilled vegetables.
Notes
Chimichurri can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
