Description
Discover how to make delicious Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders perfect for any gathering. Easy recipe with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and zesty ranch dressing.
Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian Rolls
- 12 oz (340 g) Shredded Chicken
- 1 cup (240 ml) Ranch Dressing plus more for spreading on the rolls
- 12 oz (340 g) Beef Bacon
- 9 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese Or Colby Jack
- Grated Parmesan Cheese optional
- Chives optional
Instructions
- Chop the raw beef bacon into 1/2-inch pieces and fry them on the stove, stirring often. Cook until they’re crispy, then place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. This method is preferable to frying full slices and breaking them up afterward.
- Set the oven to preheat at 325°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with 3/4 of the crispy bacon bits and a little less than 1/2 cup of ranch dressing. Stir well until the mixture is moist. If it appears dry, incorporate a bit more dressing and mix thoroughly again.
- Slice the rolls horizontally to create two large sections: one with the bottoms and one with the tops.
- Spread a thin coat of ranch dressing on the inner side of the bottom half of the rolls using a pastry brush or spoon.
- Divide each of the 9 cheese slices into 4 smaller squares, making a total of 36 cheese pieces. Place one cheese square on each bottom roll over the ranch dressing.
- Distribute the chicken mixture evenly on top of the cheese, then add two more cheese squares per roll, followed by the rest of the bacon bits.
- Position the top half of the rolls over the filled bottoms and lightly coat the tops with ranch dressing. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the ranch layer.
- Wrap the rolls with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 7-10 minutes.
- Garnish with freshly chopped chives and savor the dish.
Notes
- Consider using a blend of sharp cheddar and Colby Jack cheese slices for enhanced flavor in the sliders.
- For a crispier texture, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the ranch dressing before baking.
- Save time by using pre-cooked shredded chicken instead of cooking and shredding it yourself.
