Description

A comforting sandwich featuring tender shredded chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese, grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of hearty bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Butter (for grilling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, mashed avocado, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  3. Spread the chicken and avocado mixture on one slice of bread.
  4. Top with shredded cheese, then place the second slice of bread on top.
  5. Butter the outside of the sandwich.
  6. Grill the sandwich in the skillet until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with garlic powder or smoked paprika in the filling. Add fresh vegetables for extra crunch.
