Ingredients
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: nuts or fruits for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, chia seeds, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk and vegetable oil.
- Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients until just blended.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Optionally, add nuts or fruits on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool and serve.
Notes
Allow chia seeds to soak in the batter for enhanced texture. Experiment with different extracts for added flavor.
