Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the pre-made pie crust.
- Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve slices topped with whipped cream if desired.
