Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (450 g)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz / 410 g)
  • 150 g frozen corn
  • 100 g cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 100 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 5 g salt
  • 5 g black pepper
  • 1 g dried oregano
  • 1 g dried basil
  • 200 g cooked pasta
  • 15 ml vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Add ground venison to the skillet; cook until browned.
  5. Stir in chopped red bell pepper and sliced mushrooms; cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add diced tomatoes, frozen corn, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.
  7. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Stir in cooked pasta until well combined.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  10. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
