Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 thick slices French or Italian bread
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

- In a bowl, melt butter and mix in minced garlic.
- Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread. Layer cooked chicken pieces and top with mozzarella cheese before adding another slice of buttered bread.
- Bake assembled sandwiches for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bread is golden brown.
- Serve warm, sliced in half if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken beforehand with herbs or spices. Feel free to add other herbs like parsley or basil to the garlic butter.
