Ingredients
- 2 cups (480 ml) shredded cooked chicken (340 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) buffalo sauce (120 milliliters)
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (100 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped green onions (25 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) garlic powder (2.5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) onion powder (2.5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt (2.5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (2.5 grams)
- 24 beef bacon strips
- 48 frozen tater tots
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken and buffalo sauce.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions to the bowl.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Lay a strip of turkey bacon on a flat surface.
- Place one tater tot at one end of the bacon strip.
- Add a spoonful of the chicken mixture on top of the tater tot.
- Place a second tater tot on top of the chicken mixture.
- Roll the bacon strip around the tater tots and chicken mixture.
- Secure the bacon strip with a toothpick.
- Repeat steps 6-11 with remaining ingredients.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the parchment paper with cooking spray.
- Arrange the wrapped tater tot bombs on the baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from oven when bacon is crispy and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
