Ingredients
- 2.5 cups broccoli (washed and chopped)
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese (shredded and divided)
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Place chopped broccoli into a medium microwave-safe bowl and add water.
- Microwave the broccoli for three minutes.
- Allow the broccoli to cool and carefully drain excess water.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, one cup of the shredded cheddar, ranch dressing, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the cooled broccoli, ensuring it’s well-coated with the cheese mixture.
- Pour the mixture into an 8×8 baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts beautifully.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with additional ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
For added texture, consider topping with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter. Customize with chicken or other veggies if desired.
