Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) ground beef (450 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups (480 ml) broccoli florets (200 grams)
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (2 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) dried oregano (1 gram)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) dried thyme (1 gram)
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (115 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded mozzarella cheese (60 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water (60 milliliters)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Remove the cooked beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent.
- Add the chopped bell pepper, broccoli florets, and sliced zucchini to the skillet.
- Stir the vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix with the vegetables.
- Add the salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, and dried thyme to the skillet.
- Stir well to combine the spices with the beef and vegetables.
- Pour in the water and stir, allowing the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the skillet.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook until the cheese is melted.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let it rest for a minute.
