Description

A flavorful and communal dish featuring shrimp, crab legs, mussels, sausage, and corn, seasoned with zesty Cajun spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, deveined
  • 1 lb crab legs
  • 1 lb mussels
  • 1 lb Andouille sausage, sliced
  • 4 ears of corn, halved
  • 4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the sliced sausage and halved corn, cooking for about 10 minutes.
  3. Introduce the shrimp and mussels to the pot, cooking until shrimp are pink and mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and stir in minced garlic to create garlic butter sauce.
  5. Strain the seafood mixture and transfer it to a large platter or directly onto a newspaper-covered table.
  6. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the seafood and corn, garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Always discard unopened mussels before serving. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on spice preference.
