Description

Elegant appetizer featuring warm baguette slices topped with creamy burrata cheese, delicate prosciutto, and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush both sides of each baguette slice with olive oil.
  3. Place the oiled baguette on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for approximately 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden and crisp.
  4. After they cool slightly, spread a generous amount of burrata cheese on each crostini.
  5. Drape a slice of prosciutto over the burrata.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes

To avoid sogginess, assemble shortly before serving. Experiment with different types of bread or add seasonal ingredients for variety.
