Ingredients
- 1½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder (to taste)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups baby potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Ketchup, mustard, pickles, or any favorite toppings
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high or your oven to 400°F.
- Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Shape into four burger patties.
- Tear off four large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil for the packets.
- On each foil sheet, layer the sliced baby potatoes, onions, and bell peppers. Place one burger patty on top of the vegetables.
- Drizzle each packet with olive oil and season with more salt and pepper if desired.
- Fold the foil into sealed packets, ensuring no steam escapes during cooking.
- Grill or bake the packets for 25–30 minutes, or until the veggies are tender and the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Carefully open the packets and sprinkle the melted cheese on top. Add any desired toppings directly into the foil.
- Enjoy your meal straight from the foil, savoring every flavorful bite.
