A creamy, flavorful bruschetta dip featuring soft cheese, fresh tomatoes, and basil, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
- ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
- Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette
Instructions
- Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate, leaving about a quarter-inch around the edge clean.
- Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese layer.
- Add the fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the entirety of the plate.
- Serve the bruschetta dip with pita chips, crackers, or on thinly sliced baguette.
Notes
For variety, consider mixing different types of soft cheeses. Taste tomatoes before use for desired sweetness and balance with sugar if needed.
