Description

Deliciously soft cinnamon rolls made effortlessly using a bread machine, topped with cream cheese icing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (warmed)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 420 grams all-purpose flour (approximately 3 1/2 cups)
  • 2 tbsp organic cane sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 7 grams instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Add warmed milk and melted butter to the bread machine pan.
  2. Add the all-purpose flour, organic cane sugar, and salt.
  3. Sprinkle the instant yeast on top of the dry ingredients.
  4. Select the dough cycle and start the machine.
  5. While the dough kneads, prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  6. Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
  7. Spread room temperature butter over the dough, then add the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Roll the dough into a log and slice into individual rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and allow them to rise again before baking.
  10. Bake according to machine settings or until golden brown.
  11. After cooling slightly, apply the cream cheese icing generously.

Notes

For fluffier rolls, let them rise in a warm environment. Avoid overbaking to maintain moisture.
