Description
Deliciously soft cinnamon rolls made effortlessly using a bread machine, topped with cream cheese icing.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (warmed)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 420 grams all-purpose flour (approximately 3 1/2 cups)
- 2 tbsp organic cane sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 7 grams instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Add warmed milk and melted butter to the bread machine pan.
- Add the all-purpose flour, organic cane sugar, and salt.
- Sprinkle the instant yeast on top of the dry ingredients.
- Select the dough cycle and start the machine.
- While the dough kneads, prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
- Spread room temperature butter over the dough, then add the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice into individual rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and allow them to rise again before baking.
- Bake according to machine settings or until golden brown.
- After cooling slightly, apply the cream cheese icing generously.
Notes
For fluffier rolls, let them rise in a warm environment. Avoid overbaking to maintain moisture.
