Description

Delightful blueberry muffins with a touch of cinnamon, perfect for brunch or an afternoon treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cinnamon until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk and eggs until smooth. Then, add this mixture to the dry ingredients and combine until just blended; avoid overmixing.
  4. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  5. Fill the muffin cups two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown, and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better incorporation and consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon on top before baking for added flavor.
