Description

A comforting and delicious casserole combining flaky croissants, creamy cheese, and juicy blueberries, perfect for brunch.


Ingredients

  • 6-8 Croissants
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter (for greasing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Tear croissants into pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces, ensuring they are soaked.
  5. Dot the mixture with spoonfuls of cream cheese and sprinkle blueberries evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Optionally, serve warm with blueberry sauce on top.

Notes
