Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, let the breadcrumbs soak in milk for about 5 minutes.
- Mix in the ground turkey, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley until well combined.
- Form the turkey mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking pan.
- Coat the top of the meatloaf with a layer of ketchup for a classic glazed finish.
- Cook in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and the juices run clear.
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
