Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
Choose very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Customize with nuts or different types of chocolate for a unique twist.
