Ingredients
- 1300g flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 stalks green onions, green parts only, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup beef stock
- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ginger, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak into 1/4-inch strips and coat with cornstarch. Set aside.
- Chop the green onions and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine beef stock, light soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Set aside.
- Fry the beef until golden brown for about 4 minutes and set aside.
- Add the premixed sauce to the pan, sprinkle in cornstarch, and stir to thicken.
- Add the beef back to the pan and stir until evenly coated.
- Lastly, add the green onions and give it a stir to combine.
