Ingredients
- Beef tenderloin medallions
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Garlic (minced)
- Fresh herbs (such as thyme and parsley)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef tenderloin medallions with salt and pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the medallions for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and desired doneness is reached.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped fresh herbs.
- Once the medallions are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest.
- Top each medallion with a spoonful of garlic herb butter. Serve immediately.
Notes
Using room-temperature beef may enhance even cooking. Avoid overcrowding the skillet for better searing.
