Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each into a thin patty.
- Mix the cooked macaroni with the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place a spoonful of the mac and cheese mixture onto the center of 4 beef patties.
- Top each with another beef patty, sealing the edges to enclose the filling.
- Grill or pan-cook the beef patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
- In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Toast the hamburger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun.
- Add a cooked burger patty on top of the lettuce.
