  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 pints cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 ⅓ cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 3 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 420°F (215°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix all-purpose flour and milk until smooth.
  3. Add baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; mix until smooth.
  4. Coat the cauliflower florets in the batter until evenly coated.
  5. Add Panko breadcrumbs and mix again to ensure thorough coating.
  6. Place breaded cauliflower florets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and Sriracha in a small bowl; taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  10. Once cooked, pour the sauce over cauliflower, mix well, and enjoy.

Notes

Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by reducing Sriracha for less heat.
