Description

Deliciously moist banana bread brownies that combine the rich flavor of bananas with the chewy delight of brownies.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Incorporate the mashed bananas into the wet mixture, blending them smoothly.
  4. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture gradually to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake the brownies for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely before preparing the frosting.
  9. Beat the remaining ¼ cup of unsalted butter with powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy.
