Description

Learn how to make irresistible balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts with this easy recipe. Perfect side dish for any meal, guaranteed to impress!

Ingredients

  • – 1 1/2 lbs (680 g) brussel sprouts
  • – 3 tbsp (45 ml) vegetable oil
  • – 3/4 tsp (3.75 ml) salt
  • – 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) ground black pepper
  • – 2 tbsp (30 ml) balsamic vinegar (or balsamic glaze)
  • – 2 tsp (10 ml) honey

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to a temperature of 425°F.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil or using a non-stick silicone mat.
  3. Remove any outer dry leaves from the Brussels sprouts, trim the bottoms, and slice them lengthwise.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts with vegetable oil, salt, and ground black pepper, ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Spread the sprouts evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake them until they are soft and golden brown, roughly 20 minutes.
  6. Return the roasted Brussels sprouts to the bowl. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and honey, then mix thoroughly to cover them evenly. Taste and add more salt if needed before serving.

Notes

  • Thoroughly coat the Brussels sprouts with oil, salt, and pepper for even seasoning.
  • For a sweeter taste, consider using balsamic glaze instead of balsamic vinegar.
  • Adjust the honey amount to suit your desired level of sweetness.
