Description

A rich and creamy baked brie topped with sweet fig jam, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (optional)
  • Crackers or baguette for serving
  • Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using puff pastry, roll it out and wrap it around the brie cheese. Otherwise, place the brie directly on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the fig jam generously over the top of the brie.
  4. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
  7. Serve warm with crackers or slices of baguette.

Notes

Monitor the baking time to achieve the perfect gooeyness without leaking. Experiment with different toppings for variety.
