A comforting baked apple crumble featuring a sweet, crumbly topping that pairs perfectly with fresh apples.
Ingredients
- 4 cups of apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, then spread them evenly in a greased baking dish.
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
- Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until crumbly.
- Spread the crumb topping over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
- Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
