Ingredients
- – 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs (about 680g)
- – 1/2 tsp (3 ml) salt
- – 1/4 tsp (1 ml) black pepper
- – 1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder
- – 1/2 tsp (3 ml) paprika
- – 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Vegeta seasoning, optional
- – 6-8 slices beef bacon, usually 1 slice per chicken thigh, but you may need more, if they are bigger
- – 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
Instructions
- Set your oven to 400 F to preheat.
- Lightly coat a baking dish or a cast iron skillet with oil.
- Sprinkle the chicken thighs evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and, if desired, Vegeta seasoning.
- Envelop each chicken thigh with a slice of beef bacon. For larger thighs, additional bacon slices may be necessary.
- Place the wrapped chicken pieces in the prepared dish and cook in the oven for 30-35 minutes, ensuring the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 F.
- Turn on the broiler for about 1 minute to crisp up the bacon and give it a golden color.
