Ingredients
- 6 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss the sliced apples with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Spread the seasoned apples evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and nutmeg until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat topping over the apples.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
