Description

Delicious and fluffy Apple Cinnamon Waffles, perfect for cozy breakfasts or treating guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 medium or large apple, grated


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Grease the waffle maker with cooking spray or butter.
  5. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter into the preheated waffle maker.
  6. Cook until the steam stops and the waffles are golden brown.
