Description

Delicious and comforting keto turkey meatballs in a creamy sauce, perfect for a low-carb lifestyle.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, cut from the block
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine ground turkey, egg, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl. Mix until well incorporated, though the mixture will be sticky.
  2. Oil your hands, then roll the seasoned turkey into meatballs about the diameter of a quarter.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Add the meatballs, ensuring not to overcrowd them. Cook on all sides until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside. Lower the heat to medium-low.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce any excess grease, then add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the meatballs to the skillet, allowing them to swim in the creamy sauce.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven briefly to brown the top slightly.
  8. Garnish with leftover parsley and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding herbs like oregano or thyme. Adjust sauce thickness with cream as needed.
