Description

Juicy and flavorful air fryer turkey meatballs that offer a healthy twist on a classic dish, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (unsalted)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced or microplaned)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into medium-sized meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the meatballs in a single layer, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow airflow.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through for even cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating fresh herbs like parsley or basil into the meatball mixture.
