Ingredients

  • 6 fresh jalapeños sliced in half and seeds removed
  • 4 ounce (113 g) s cream cheese softened
  • 4 oz (113 g) Goat Cheese softened
  • 12 slices of turkey bacon regular sliced not thick, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) dried dill
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Dried Chives
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Kosher Salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper


Instructions

  1. Slice the jalapeño peppers lengthwise, removing the seeds and ribs, but keep the stems intact. Dispose of the seeds and ribs.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, goat cheese, and the garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried chives, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stuff the peppers with the cheese blend, ensuring not to overfill them to prevent spilling during cooking.
  4. Dip the filled side of each jalapeño into a shallow bowl of grated cheddar cheese, pressing gently to adhere about a teaspoon of cheese to each.
  5. Wrap each jalapeño with a half slice of turkey bacon.
  6. Arrange the prepared jalapeños on an air fryer rack or basket lightly coated with cooking spray.
  7. Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the bacon turns crispy and golden brown.
  8. Enjoy them warm or let them cool to room temperature before serving.
