Ingredients
- 6 fresh jalapeños sliced in half and seeds removed
- 4 ounce (113 g) s cream cheese softened
- 4 oz (113 g) Goat Cheese softened
- 12 slices of turkey bacon regular sliced not thick, cut in half
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) dried dill
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Dried Chives
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Kosher Salt
- Pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
- Slice the jalapeño peppers lengthwise, removing the seeds and ribs, but keep the stems intact. Dispose of the seeds and ribs.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, goat cheese, and the garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried chives, kosher salt, and black pepper.
- Stuff the peppers with the cheese blend, ensuring not to overfill them to prevent spilling during cooking.
- Dip the filled side of each jalapeño into a shallow bowl of grated cheddar cheese, pressing gently to adhere about a teaspoon of cheese to each.
- Wrap each jalapeño with a half slice of turkey bacon.
- Arrange the prepared jalapeños on an air fryer rack or basket lightly coated with cooking spray.
- Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the bacon turns crispy and golden brown.
- Enjoy them warm or let them cool to room temperature before serving.
