Quick and easy dinner rolls ready in just 30 minutes, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a stand mixer and allow to proof for 2–5 minutes.
- Add vegetable oil, salt, and egg, mixing well.
- Gradually add flour one cup at a time while kneading for about four minutes.
- Shape the dough into 15 balls and place them in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- Cover with a dish towel and let rise in a warm area while preheating your oven to 375°F.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter after baking.
Notes
Ensure the water temperature is between 100°F to 110°F for optimal yeast activation. Use lightly oiled hands when shaping the rolls.
